Tuesday July 21, 2009 – Griffith Observatory:

The Sci-Vi team visited the Griffith Observatory. The purpose of this trip was to study their planetarium show ‘Centered in the Universe” and other visual exhibits. Our goal was to look for visual and storytelling ideas and techniques we could learn from. As night fell we took advantage of their 12 inch Zeiss refractor telescope on the roof and were able to view Saturn.
